PHOTOGRAPHY AND VIDEO
Training of audiovisual professionals. The department offers students the necessary skills and techniques for photographic and audiovisual creations. Students are introduced to the fundamental principles of digital cameras and video cameras, composition and specific post-production techniques. Particular attention is paid to the student's subjection of technical issues to the expression of artistic creativity supported by a solid theoretical base.
The different aspects of the world of photography, audiovisual and cinema are addressed: video clips, documentaries, commercials and fashion films; from post-production to editing, from video production to the application of traditional photographic techniques, reportage, landscape, fashion, industrial and still-life photography, without neglecting aspects of digital design throughout the Adobe package.
The Department also prepares students for a profession in the film industry by shaping the figure of the contemporary filmmaker, with the many nuances and professional applications that the photographic and audiovisual sector allows today: videographer, digital imaging technician, data manager, colourist, as well as the more traditional roles inherent in directing, editing, production, photography and sound design.
